Feelingz

From the hills and valleys, the forests and rivers, the cool climate, and diverse cultural cocktail, in the Northwestern region of Cameroon, a nursery, recording and promotion corporation; “Feelingz” was born in 2015 from the inspiration of two great minds: NANA MBATCHOU Ricardo and DOBY KUM

They are very passionate about the music and desire to bring a renaissance to the art in general and music in particular, valuing music as a dynamic force that enriches the lives of listeners all over the globe, and advocating culture as the panacea to the world’s problems.

Grassfields acoustic is an amalgamation of outstanding singers and gifted musicians from the inspiring highlands of the Northwestern Cameroon in partnership with Alliance Franco Camerounais – Bamenda

THE CHOICE OF RYTHMS

It is a cocktail of original sounds and rhythms from the Grassfields influenced by the contrast of our ever rich cultural values and our world in peril with a goal to create unique music that transcends time zones, cultures, ages, races, personalities and at the same time uniting our differences.

Their songs range from Afro beat (Hi Life, Njang, Bottle Dance and Mbagalum), to Afro Jazz and are rich in melody, impregnated with messages and fused with original grassfield dances and choreography  which brings audible silence, excitement, entertainment and euphoria to audiences.

They strongly believe in the originality of their art, and are confident it can be as important in educating the world, inspiring social change, and in creating a world with long lasting peace and unity, and they hope to get into the pages of history with the likes of Miriam Makeba, Fela Ransom Kuti, Richard Bona, Lokua Kanza, Angelique Kidjo, Manu Dibango and many more.
