Review: Finally, 4unky Hits the Industry with a Funky Trap Rap!

In a country such as Cameroon where the younger generation seems to be diverting their attention only toward the entertainment industry especially music, we still identify talented and passionate artists when we find them.

As we set out for the search of talents, we were fortunate to stumble upon this young vibrant and multy talented young man named, Nforngwa Ernest, known by the entertainment industry as 4unky. He is from Bafut in the North West Region of Cameroon. Born on the 30th of May 1989, 4unky has had a series of experiences that have actually build him to what he has become today.


He is a rapper, singer, song writer and composer, who started singing in a very tender age, 11years, and has been professionally doing music for 11 years now. His first single entitled "Ma Block" was recorded in the famous Bahood Records that has build Magasco, Jovi, Tilla Tarafi, etc, in 2007. 


While In 2010, 4unky moved to Nigeria in search of new talents and better Collabaration. In Nigeria, he made this Nigerian singer and producer, AU, and they did a song, "No Dullin" and director Mattmax on the video. In 2015, as his search for more knowledge on his music continued, he moved to Ghana. His tracks are filled with all these experiences


In 2016, he moved back to Cameroon where he released his first EP "Takumbeng" with the first video of the EP for a single, "Sheila" directed by pointeh who is still, the director of his most recent song, "Ndose" released yesterday, the 28th of January 2019.

When we cought up with 4unky, he explained to us that his greatest inspiration is nature, the beautiful African women, his traveling across West Africa, the cultures and the people he met. He added that he is also greatly inspired by the Western na African artists such as Nick Cannon and 2Face. His greatest objective is to make African and Cameroon music valued.
