"2015 / Method J Tabiy and Dijay Karl

Method J and I studied English at the university of Yaounde I, level 1 to 3 (2010-13)
Same class, and at times, on the same bench, side by side. 

While he was passionate about music, I was very much passionate about poetry, creative writing in general, and also music.

 I was a singer once and not only that, an award winner in my days. But, The affection i had for music wasn't strong enough to convince me to pursue that. 

Thus, for a few years I concentrated on poetry, especially on my epic, and creative writing.

Method J and I would walk the streets of Obili many evenings (2012), singing together, aloud. While he sang, i would provide the chorus. Those were great moments. Chaiii.

Thats how passionate we were. Then we would go to his house and I will sit and watch him make awesome beats. It was at his place that I was captivated by Kamer Rap.
And I usually begged him  to play me new kamer releases, and also his new work.  I wasn't really interested in foreign music. 

2014, i could not hold myself back from my heart's third desire, Music Video production. 

The Camera seemed to fit well in my hands. And Before i forget, my father had been a photography hobbyist, he had bought a canon camera in his prime (1980s) and all our thick photo albums back home are filled with family pix taken by him. He had made a tripod and used the camera's timer. He will set the camera on the tripod, set the timer before coming to pose with us. Chakap. 

The composition, the art and the angles were three things that convinced me that my dad was extraordinary.

I remember discussing with Method J of my plans to study the art of music videos. While he will concentrate on sound. 

Method J has been a hard worker since i knew him, and an inspiration to me in particular.

DJ Karl is another amazing guy. And am proud to have known these two who hail from the great land of Nso.
These are two of those i know are slowly but surely revolutionising kamer hiphop sound.

The land of Nso is musically blessed. Thats no overstatement.
