Review: Top 10 Next Generation Artists(NGA) Artists With "Mother Tongue Verses" in Their Songs!.

The pride of most Africans if not all, is their ability of expressing themselves in their mother tongue. The mother tongue is the first aspect of any tradition. Africans have been using this to their advantages, especially in the entertainment industry as the world seems to be highly enjoying it. In those days, when the Western style of music was still much trending in Africa, most young artists use to shy away from using the mother tongue in their lyrics, including even pidgin English in most cases, but the situation is different now as the quest for identity keeps tightening. Most Cameroonian artists now use it daily in their songs. Check the list of NGA with verses in the mother tongue and get to YouTube for the songs

Wan Shey tops the list of NGA artist with mother tongue lyrics in his songs. His dynamism, especially his brand, remains a landmark to his unique recognition in the industry. He is coming from Nso land, a village in Bui Division, North West Region of Cameroon. His spontaneous expression of culture aspect, audiovisual wise, in his songs, remains our utmost point of concern with respect to this category. For example, his chorus and parts of his verse in the song "Ngwagu" by Hans Fatigal are in the mother tongue. His complete chorus in the song "Sung Meh" by Young Holiday, are completely in the mother tongue. On the sixth position, we have Brians Lee. He is indeed, a nso warrior. His love for his mother tongue always keeps those who can't speak their tribal languages jealous. 9)MR. TOSAM:

In the ninth position, comes Mr. Tosam. He is often referred to as "a great artist with neglected talents", statements I picked from some multiple WhatsApp groups. Mr. Tosam is a talented, but non committed hard and harsh rapper, whose weight in music, has been felt across the few songs he has released. His love for his tribal language, evident through some of his songs such as " Kaki no be leather" and "Komtanghi" by T Son Evas, has placed him in this special an honourable position, highly rated and graded.

This signifies that Don Shell is only repositioning himself, whereas, he got a great step already. I'd have done this analyzes after the release of one of his mega hit songs, "Yaweh" coming up on the 31th ft T Son. Don Shell is best known for his fierce punchlines in the mother tongue in most of his rap verses, including "Mr. Lover" ft Escola and "Down Down Baby".
