CROSSY is a new kid in the block in the industry with just a few releases to
his name but making a serious statement to his intentions of taking over the
music industry in Cameroon.
CROSSY is an
independent artist under the uprising Anglophone Cameroon based record label,
Hot Season Music Group based in Buea. Originally from the North West Region of
Cameroon, and presently resides the South West sea side town of Limbe, CROSSY
is a holder of a Bsc in Geology from the University of Buea.
CROSSY recorded his
first demo song 2010 featuring Boy Swagg called “Sugar” which was produced by
Beat Baller at Sound Slave recording Studios and “Many Thingz” by ABZ in 2013.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of X Maleya, Petit Pays, Wizkid, Rythmz, Magasco
and Daphne, CROSSY recorded his first professional single in 2015 called
“ALAGO” under the Hot Season Music Group imprint where he is currently signed.
He has quite a good number of collaborations with other Cameroonian artist to
his name.
According to the CEO of
Hot Season Music Group, CROSSY has been a revelation. He is also gentle and was
born to do music.
CROSSY
just released his brand new singled “I Agree” a blend of afro-high life and
makossa with a good lyrical prowells. The song was produced by one of
Cameroon’s finest PhillBillBeatz. The song was in collaboration with No Hitz No
Recordz. The song is a unique piece which highlights the hate we have for each
other.
