Review: Why Most Upcoming Artists Don't Perform at Local Shows in Cameroon

There has always been a great tussle between show organizers and artists in respect to performance agreement. While some show organizers give conditions for their artists to fulfill before mounting their podium, such as pay in a certain amount or selling a number of tickets supposedly for artist's favour, attending possible meetings such as rehearsals prior to the event, most artist concentrate only on paying their money and it ends there.

This is what show organizers expect from upcoming to established artists: 
When an artist is booked for a show, organizers expect them to attend meetings prior to the event, expect to see them engage in promoting the show especially on social media(They monitor artists) for their supporters to come and support them. 

Also, this is actually the reason why some artists performed two songs on shows, some performed one song, some perform two and some don't even perform. It happened even in advance shows, it happened to Blaise B on Tenor's show organized in Palais de Sport. 

Most artists don't know this and many have stopped attending shows even if they are around their vicinity. They simply believe that show organizers disrespect them. Both parties should rather change and come engage in a straight agreement to making entertainment what it should be.
