Vibes: Upcoming Artists Receive In Return, Less Than 10% Of The Love And Support Offered To Established Artists!

Vibes: Upcoming Artists Offer More Than 200% Support To Established Artists, But Receive less than 10% In Return!

There has been a great strife within the music sub set of the entertainment industry in Cameroon to who should be labelled an upcoming artist and as well an established artist.

This, resulting to the outcome of 3 categories in the artist's lane created by fans, including some of the artists themselves: upcoming artist, mid career artist and established artists. We won't go into details defining, it isn't the crooks of the matter.

In other regards still within the industry, an artist can be established in Cameroon, but upcoming in Africa and the world. While others insist the classification should be done just within the four corners of our industry.

Also, We've watched artists live on Facebook rejecting when being reffered to them as upcoming artists. For example, Mel B Akwen, author of the famous song, "Bella".

Narrowing down our thoughts and views to the crooks of the matter, the truth remains there exist two categories of artists: upcoming artists and established artists, though the levels within each category may not be the same. Any other view is perceptive, which can be acceptable.

Now, avoiding cutting corners, our point is, do upcoming artists receive in return the free-hearted love, support and promotion they offer established artists? The answer will definitely be a NO. We are physically seeing the gap between upcoming and established artists and how difficult it is for these two categories to collaborate in our industry.

Let's also tilt our eyes toward the Mboko Ngang movement by one of the fearless established artist in Cameroon, Jovi. We're definitely seeing the committed energy offered by this upcoming artists to see this movement gets the weight it deserves. But at the end of the day, should the love and support be offered back to them?

Recently, Big G Baba, one of the heavy weight Mboko rapper in our industry, who also got angry after a concert in Yaounde because he insinuated that an upcoming artist refered to him as an upcoming artist, on one of his Facebook post, reittirate that upcoming artists initiatives should be encouraged. But, after words, should we see this practically? No!

For example, we can see LIL LOVE, graded and rated one of the most influential, humble, strategic and of course, very talented artist whose few works have travelled far and wide, but he still accepts his upcoming artist status, and fully supports the Mboko Ngang movement by his senior colleague, JOVI.

This is the truth, tuff measures are  being mounted by the purported established artists upon upcoming artists for any possible Collabaration, but upcoming artists keep singing their praises unperturbed. The bridge between these two continue widening everyday.

How do you think upcoming artists can receive back the love they offer established artists? Your views on the comment section.
