JOHN PELFOR is one of the most celebrated artist in Cameroon for his durable expertise, talents and his promotion of music and the entire culture of Cameroon.
He is seen as one of the pioneers of Afro pop music and the first Cameroonian artist to have competed with the likes "Brackets", "Timaya", "P Square", etc, through his famous song "Mami Nyanga" 6 years ago at a time when Nigerian music was still hugely listened back here in the country.
He is from the North West Regions of Cameroon, precisely from Ndop, Ngoh Ketunja Division.
His "Njang like" song which holds as main theme: the struggle for survival, laying special emphasis on the challenges of migration, especially for greener pastures, is an advice to young Cameroonians, Africans in general,to stay in their respective countries and try to fix it up because, there is no where without hardship.
