Vibes: Top 10 best Collaboration Songs in Cameroon
This particular phrase "good music" has been troubling and seems more complex as lay eyes may see. To some people, good music is the most popular songs playing on the streets; to some people, good music is those you can easily enjoy in clubs; and to some people, good music is the those that touches the soul and can easilly relate to ones emotions.
Now, according to my own personal judgement, and proof by the following examples, the most streamed songs come from non trending artists, but artists who's songs can match a situation in you like heal wounds from heartbreak, poverty, suffering, etc. Example from some top western artists whose songs represents songs of all times: Adele, Melanie, Jordan Spark, Mohombi, Brandy and in Cameroon, when you listen to Andy Jemea, Louis Alga, Salatiel, Dyllann, Philbill, Akems, Don Shell, etc, you'll find something very different about their songs. Songs you can comfortably sit at home and play them, not only in bars or occasions.
Contrary to some new comers in Cameroon's music industry who have always thought that our music is only going worldwide by the present generation, our music has always been represented, just that it has been transfered from one generation to the another with different styles and for the fact that urban music has taken over our traditional music. PETIT PAYS had a big fan base in Nigeria, Shakira used the song Zamina from a Cameroonian, and France was littered with Cameroon music. Now, as showbiz has taken another path from the traditional path, young artists have believed that working together is more appealing. There is a good number of collaborations between artists in recent times in Cameroon, which I think have been top. Establishing this list, is based merely on my own observations. The list comprises of artists mostly from the English rated background taking into account the considerations listed in paragraph one.
1) @Better_Boyfriend by Ambe ft Daphe, released on September 4, 2016 with 332k views on YouTube. This collaboration between these two great artists is often considered the most neglected in Cameroon. The song did not really make waves on the streets, but the message and melody was powerful. The song seems to have came earlier when our music industry was still trying to cling into the urban style. Ambe is one of the first Cameroonian artist who featured in Trace Africa with his popular song, Les Fils de Mon pays. If this song was released now, it would have received much attention than how it did. Watch song here...

8) @Check_sense by Pascal ft Jovi. The song seems to have been deleted from YouTube. At the time when mboko rap was just heavily gaining grounds, this song came up and was a ring tone in every phone. I think this song is the reason Pascal left New Nell thinking that he could stand on his own, reasons being that the song gave him power and popularity. This song is one of the best one can listen as many times as possible.
9) @Haleluia by Daphne Ft Boy Tag, released on January 31, 2019 with 2.8 million YouTube views. This song has not been received by the industry the way it was supposed to, but has great reactions on YouTube. It has about a million and above views. The song has a great melody and lyrics. 10) @Settle down by Don Shell ft Akems. I know most people will ask who is Don Shell and Akems, but if only one may have time to share the stories of how some of these artists have came through. Before Magasco was signed into the Empire company, he was working hand in gloves with Don Shell. Don Shell even has a song with him which it was never released. Most rappers in Fundong owe their careers to Do Shell who directed them. He is the pioneer of the history of rap in Kom. About Akems, he is one of the first artist in kom to have rapped in the dialet. His song in 2011-12 was a ringtone on every phone
He was the one who influenced most of us. Don Shell has just been a little slow in his music journey, meeting Akems back where they are supposedly working as a team as has always been the case, he has promised to leave no stone unturned till he reaches the top. I won't talk more on settle down but I'll let you listen it here by yourself. Watch song here...
Aside: Chindo is releasing her first ever single on Friday the 10th of this month at Wine Shop, Biyem Assi lac. Meshi, Daddy Black and Kitz have all been invited.

Your choice of best collabos in Kamair lately(Anglo Afro music) makes sense bro. If were to do the same work within that very scope, I will agree with you 80%. I'm glad you identified that Ambe/Daphne collabo, "better boyfriend". I always find pleasure in track; though what attracts me first is the beats before....
